2025 QCPC Member Survey
By now, every QCPC member should have received an email with the 2025 QCPC Member Survey. Thank you for completing this survey. Your feedback is important. It helps us identify areas in which we are doing well and areas in which we have room to improve.
The survey covers the general QC pickleball environment, facilities, club activities, scheduling, club management, and finances using a multiple-choice format. You will have the option to make additional comments at the end of the survey. This is an anonymous survey. You may give your name if you wish to be contacted but it is not required.
This survey will end on February 16th. If you haven't completed the survey yet, open the email sent to members on Feb 3rd entitled "2025 QCPC Member Survey." Then click on the survey link there.

Meet Pro Player and Instructor Brian Martin
Wednesday February 12 at 2 pm
Exhibition, Demos and Fun
After years of searching for a high-level Pro Instructor for our Club, we want you to personally meet Brian and hear him introduce himself and his programs. Brian plays on the National Pickleball League’s Senior Pro Circuit. He teaches pickleball at home in Washington and at Engage Pickleball camps. Brian is known for his enthusiastic, enjoyable engagement with students and comes highly recommended from QCPC members and APPL.
The “Meet and Greet” is open to all members at no cost and will include examples of drill /teaching for the various upcoming sessions, a chance to participate in demonstrations and a fun exhibition from high-level players.
Following the Meet & Greet, play with Brian in the “Pro’s Ladder.” Brian and another Pro will stay on the top court and your team will work your way up to play them. He will make sure that everyone gets a chance to play against the Pros on the top court regardless of how many games you win or lose or your skill level. This event is limited to 10 players, but please stay and watch. Sign up for the Pro’s Ladder at the event.
The Meet & Greet will be on courts 1 and 2 from 2 – 3:30, music starts 1:30.
To help us estimate total attendance, please sign up on Court Reserve. Registration is open now.

Lost weight? Gained weight? Bought something you don’t love? If so, it’s time to get those items out of your closet and shop for something else. Between March 3–8, you can drop off your gently used women’s athletic wear at Tricia Kordalski’s house at 1417 N Miranda Ln. There will be a box to leave your items outside her front door. If you can’t see the label on the inside collar of a top, the item is probably not “gently used”.
On March 11 from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Lower Level Ramada, members of the Pickleball Social Committee will be on hand to help you shop for carefully selected used women’s athletic wear. Items will be affordably priced and the committee will accept cash or checks. The proceeds will help fund future QCPC events.
Tricia Kordalski and Tina Davis are leading this clothing sale so you know it will also be a social event that will include a mimosa and appetizers.

Pickleball Ramada Reservations
Residents can reserve the Pickleball Ramadas through Epifania Torres for non-Pickleball Club events such as unit parties, birthday parties etc. To request a reservation, email Epifania.Torres@Robson.com. Epi will coordinate with the Pickleball Club to secure the booking in their reservation system. No room request form is required for Ramada reservations.
Pickleball Club Members can reserve one of the Ramadas for Pickleball Club events by emailing Paula Davis at p.davis01@comcast.net. Indicate the date, time and Ramada preference (Upper Ramada or Lower Ramada) in your request.
Instructions are also on the bulletin boards and on CourtReserve under Member Resources.

Annual Review of QCPC’s
2024 Financial Records
Under QCPC's By-Laws, an Audit Committee is formed annually to review the club’s financial records from the prior year. Audit Committee members Jenny Farran and Tim Bergold recently completed their review of QCPC’s 2024 financial records. Their report (posted on CourtReserve under Board Info tab) concluded that the club’s financial records are “well-organized.” They further found that the club’s 2024 income from dues was correctly reflected, expenses were supported by documentation, correct disbursements were made, and all reviewed items matched the Treasurer’s Profit & Loss Statements.
QCPC sincerely appreciates the time and effort put forth by Jenny and Tim as Audit Committee members and by Treasurer Paul Hackbert for doing an excellent job maintaining QCPC’s financial records and preparing financial reports.

Pickleball Eye Protection
Almost every pickleball player will eventually have a slam or hard shot hit them in the face. Pickleballs can travel as fast as 60 mph, and opposing players at the kitchen lines are only 14 feet away. Wear eye protection if you don't want to risk retinal detachment, edema, and corneal abrasion.
You can invest in one of the many sports eyeware products available. Alternatively, standard sunglasses or regular glasses with polycarbonate lenses will help. Work glasses or goggles (available with clear lenses for night play and many tints for day use) also work well. Products with very good optical quality are available at prices as low as $20.

Protect Our Courts
Our beautiful courts are durable, but they are not impervious to damage. If you are using a chair on the court place a towel or mat under it. Also be careful with metal ball baskets and training aids. If you see someone abusing the courts call Patrol at 520-393-2941.

No Shows
Please be courteous to others and always cancel court reservations and registrations for events you can’t attend. Cancellations should be made as soon as possible but can be made as late as the day of the reservation, if necessary. Cancelling your reservation or event registration allows others to play. Cancel court reservations and event registrations by going to “My Reservations” or “My Events” in CourtReserve. You do NOT need to give a reason for the cancellation.
The QCPC does have penalties in place for Repeated “No Shows”. See QCPC Policy & Procedures, p. 8. Members who fail to promptly delete their court reservations when they no longer intend to use them may be sanctioned. Please don’t let it get to that.
